Welcome—I’m really glad you found your way here.
This blog exists for anyone who’s sober, sober-curious, in recovery, or simply trying to make sense of the complex world of addiction and healing. Whether you're walking that road yourself or just want to understand it better, you're in the right place.
I started this blog as a way to share what I’ve learned (and continue to learn) about sobriety, recovery, and the deeper journey of self-awareness and freedom. I’m not here as an expert—I’m here as someone who cares, reflects deeply, and believes that healing is possible.
You’ll find thoughts, stories, and honest reflections—sometimes messy, sometimes hopeful, always real. My hope is that what I write will offer clarity, encouragement, or maybe just a moment of “yeah... me too.”
Thanks for being here.
A Little About Me
Hi, I’m Maria—a writer (or maybe a righter… still figuring that one out), an overthinker (the professional kind), and someone who wrestles with life’s big questions like “What even is normal?” and “Why am I like this?”
I’ve navigated some pretty messy chapters—addiction, healing, starting over—and I’m still here, still learning, still laughing (often at things I probably shouldn’t). Sobriety didn’t fix everything overnight, but it gave me clarity, perspective, and the guts to face life without the filters.
This blog is where I process, reflect, and share the stuff that doesn’t always get talked about. I don’t claim to have all the answers—but I do believe in growth, grace, and calling things what they are.
If you’re into raw truth with a hint of dry wit and a dash of “same,” welcome.
